Why is Sand Getting in the Spa? 
Q. I have a 30,000-gallon gunite pool with a sand filter. It has an attached spa, which overflows into the pool. For the past six months, I have been getting sand in the spa. The spa flows in through the supply line. Can you tell me why this is happening?
