Council adopts spending plan for 2007 
By Spencer Watson, Staff Writer Tuesday, December 5, 2006 4:09 PM CST Despite weeks of discussion, a failed 11th-hour amendment and division regarding employee classification and related compensation nearly forestalled the passage of the 2007 budget, which won narrow approval of the City Council in a 5-3 vote Monday night.
